SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 12:52 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the 14000 block of Bellflower Street in Adelanto following a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim and a female passenger were sitting inside a vehicle when a dark colored Chevrolet Tahoe approached. A heavy-set Hispanic male exited the Tahoe, produced a firearm, and fired at the victim’s vehicle. As the victim drove away, the suspect fired a second time, striking the victim in the leg.
During the investigation, deputies located fired cartridge casings and observed two bullet strikes on the victim’s vehicle. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The female had no reported injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
