CAD CALLS: 852

1. Weapon Charges (1605) Yellowstone Avenue and Olympic Circle, Park District

Officers contacted a known subject on probation, who was sitting in a vehicle with a passenger. Officers conducted a search of that vehicle and located a firearm. ARRESTED: #1 Gabriel Escarpita, 23, and #2 Jacqueline Garibay, 25, both for weapon charges.

2. Robbery (1628) 5700 Block of Kermit Lane, Lakeview District

The 17-year-old female victim was working at a business in the listed area when the suspect approached her and requested to make a purchase. As the victim placed property on her lap, the suspect assaulted her, grabbed the property, and fled in a vehicle. The victim was uninjured and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male adult.

3. Robbery (2148) 1400 Block of Gauntlet Drive, Seaport District

The female victim, 46, and the suspect were in an argument when the suspect assaulted the victim, took her property, and fled. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical. The suspect later contacted the PD and turned himself in. ARRESTED: Edwin Contreras, 49, for robbery.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2245) 1600 Block of South Airport Way, Park District

The male victim, 18, and the juvenile victim were in an argument with the suspect over a vape. The suspect came out of his trailer and pointed a handgun at the adult victim. The suspect fled prior to the officers’ arrival. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

5. Kidnapping Arrest (0045) 2400 Block of Country Club BLVD, Civic District

The female victim, 22, and the suspect were in an argument at the listed location when the suspect assaulted the victim. The victim and the suspect were in the suspect's vehicle when the suspect refused to let the victim out. The victim attempted to open the vehicle door, and the suspect pulled her back into the vehicle. Officers later contacted the suspect at the listed location and arrested her. ARRESTED: Eliza Barocio, 24, for kidnapping and Domestic Violence.

6. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0408) 700 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District

The female victim, 21, and two other occupants, along with the suspect, were involved in an argument over gas money. During the argument, the suspect took out a black rifle and pointed it at the victim. The victim ran from the vehicle and hid inside the listed location. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
