On June 20, 2026, Santa Maria Police Department Gang Suppression Team (GST) detectives conducted a probation search at a residence in the 1400 block of Claremont Place.
During the search, detectives located two loaded Polymer80-style “ghost guns.” A 16-year-old probationer with documented gang ties was arrested for multiple weapons violations and booked into Santa Barbara County Juvenile Hall.
