* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following counties, Butler, Cowley, Harper, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated Saturday night's very heavy rainfall. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wichita, Derby, Arkansas City, Winfield, Haysville, Wellington, Mulvane, Rose Hill, Kingman, Clearwater, Cheney, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Harper, Conway Springs, Oxford, Garden Plain, Udall, Pretty Prairie and Burden.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BUTLER, KS ... COWLEY, KS ... HARPER, KS ... KINGMAN, KS ... RENO, KS ... SEDGWICK, KS ... SUMNER, KS

Instructions:

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
