On June 21, 2026 at 7:41 PM, a Simi Valley Police Department FLOCK camera detected a stolen vehicle travelling through the City of Simi Valley. Shortly thereafter a SVPD Patrol Officer located the vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Simi Valley earlier in the day, and detained the four occupants. It was quickly determined that all the occupants, including the driver, were juveniles. The 14-year-old driver, who is a resident of Simi Valley, was subsequently arrested for driving a stolen vehicle and released to his parents. The three additional juvenile subjects were released to parents at the scene and the vehicle was returned to its owner.
