June 18, 2026:

  • Officer Richardson was dispatched to the 100 block of Armory Court for a disorderly subject. A 37-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
  • Officer Tierney conducted a traffic stop at Cortland Street and Mechanic Street. A 33-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Johnson conducted a traffic stop near Lansing Avenue and North Street. A 62-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Vernier responded to the 1500 block of North West Avenue for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
  • Officer Frazier was dispatched to West Wesley Street and South Blackstone Street for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
  • Officer Delgado responded to Leroy Street and Kennedy Street for an assault. A 32-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
  • Officer Hogan conducted a traffic stop at East Ganson Street and North Waterloo Avenue. The 48-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officers located a stolen vehicle in the 400 block of South Elm Street. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
  • Officer Delgado and Officer Tripp made contact with a juvenile violating the curfew ordinance near West Wilkins Street and Greenwood Avenue. Charges will be sought on a 12-year-old male for curfew violation and resisting and obstructing.
June 19, 2026:
  • Officer Hogan was dispatched to the 200 block of North East Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 12-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for domestic assault.
  • Officer Brooker located a wanted subject near Cooper Street and Hupp Avenue. A 55-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Stallworth made contact with a subject in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 36-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Brooker responded to Michigan Avenue and Seymour Avenue for a car versus pedestrian accident. The 60-year-old male victim did not survive.
  • Officer Jones was dispatched to the 300 block of Union Street for a conditional bond violation. A 20-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
  • Officers responded to the 200 block of West Franklin Street for disorderly subjects. A 39-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Sergeant Thoresen observed a subject near West Michigan Avenue and West Louis Glick Highway who was in possession of a stolen item. The item was recovered and returned to the owner. A 52-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
  • Officer Panther was dispatched to the 1000 block of Cypress Drive for a malicious destruction of property report.
  • Officer Panther made contact with a subject near East Cortland Street and South Mechanic Street. A 37-year-old male was arrested for disguising and possession of narcotics.
  • Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Gibson Place. The 39-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated (high blood alcohol content/super drunk).
  • Officer Schram conducted a traffic stop near West Morrell Street and South Jackson Street. The 29-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
June 20, 2026:
  • Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of South Blackstone Street. An 18-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Pringle Avenue for a civil standby. A 28-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officers responded to the 200 block of East Washington Avenue for a malicious destruction of property report. A 38-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation. Charges will be sought on the male for resisting and obstructing, and malicious destruction of property.
  • JPD members attended the Juneteenth event downtown.
  • Sergeant Thoresen conducted a traffic stop near East Michigan Avenue and South Horton Street, and the driver refused to stop. The 36-year-old male driver received citations for driving without a license and having an expired license plate. Charges will be sought on the driver for fleeing and eluding.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Biddle Street for a disorderly subject. A 51-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officers responded to the 400 block of Second Street for a disorderly subject. A 39-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics.
  • Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Blair Park Drive.  A 33-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault (2nd offense); violating a personal protection order; interfering with a 911 call; resisting and obstructing; and an outstanding felony warrant.
  • Officers responded to the 300 block of West Biddle Street for a domestic dispute. A 29-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Fourth Street for a verbal dispute. A 52-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
June 21, 2026:
  • Officers responded to a traffic crash at East Michigan Avenue and North State Street. A 71-year-old male received treatment from JCA.
  • Officer Goble met with MSP Troopers for a warrant arrest. A 36-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
  • Officer Panther was dispatched to the 1000 block of Third Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
