Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in an investigation into a potential road rage-related shooting.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on June 21, 2026, deputies responded to the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Seco Canyon Road in Saugus regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call involving a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male victim who had been riding a motorcycle. The victim was shot one time in the back and transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Witnesses reported a dark-colored sedan with an unknown number of occupants allegedly driving erratically near the victim and attempting to strike him with the vehicle. Moments later, multiple gunshots were fired, striking the victim.
Detectives are currently reviewing evidence, following investigative leads, and working to identify and locate the suspects. They are also seeking additional information and witnesses who may have seen this incident or the events leading up to it.
