Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Dennis Mcgill, who is wanted for questioning about a shooting that injured a victim on Monday, April 6, 2026.
The shooting occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Hunter Street between Elizabeth Avenue and Sherman Avenue. Mcgill drives a 2006 Nissan Maxima bearing NJ registration (U44VWE).
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on locating McGill to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
