The San Mateo Community Police Academy (SMCPA) is NOW accepting applications for our FREE 10-week behind the scenes look at policing here in The City of San Mateo. The application period will be open between now and July 17th. We are looking for community minded individuals who live and/or work in San Mateo and will be able to take what they learn back into their neighborhoods. This "academy" is not meant for those looking for a career in law enforcement.

The 10 classes will run every Thursday from 6:30-9pm between Thursday, September 17 - November 19th. The first class will be orientation and the last class will be graduation. This is a once a year opportunity to learn the who, what, when & why's of law enforcement. You won't want to miss it! Apply today!
