Join thousands of visitors, veterans, first responders, community groups, and elected officials on Sunday, June 28th as Monmouth County hosts its "Red, White & You!" America's Big Birthday Parade and Family Festival in celebration of America's 250th anniversary and Monmouth County's Revolutionary War heritage.
This once-in-a-lifetime celebration will feature more than 1,000 parade participants and showcase colorful floats, decorated vehicles, marching bands, musical performances, patriotic displays, and special attractions for all ages.
The parade steps off at 12:30 PM and will travel through Middletown beginning at the Middletown Train Station, proceeding along Church Street, Kings Highway, New Monmouth Road, Cherry Tree Farm Road, and into Mater Dei Park.
Following the parade, residents are invited to enjoy a FREE family festival from 2:00-5:00 PM at Mater Dei Park featuring live entertainment, food vendors, community exhibits, inflatables, family activities, and more.
Residents should be aware that road closures will begin at approximately 9:00 AM, with Route 35 closing at 11:30 AM. The event will be held rain or shine.
