Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. announces that the following streets will be closed during the hours below for the Goya Flag Cities 2026 Fan Fest, at 438 Market Street (parking lot).
Wednesday, June 24, 2026 - 6 a.m. to midnight.
• Prospect Street between Ferry Street and Market Street
• Congress Street between Ferry Street and Market Street
The event begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. It is integrated with the Newark World Cup Fan Village, including food, cultural attractions, and more.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Miranda thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event.
