The Township is disappointed to report that the portable restroom at Prickett's Mill Park was recently vandalized, causing significant damage to Township property. Due to the nature of some of the damage, not all photographs can be shared publicly.
This type of destruction negatively impacts community resources, creates unnecessary costs for taxpayers, and diminishes the park experience for residents and visitors. The Township is working to have the unit cleaned, repaired, or replaced as quickly as possible.
A police report has been filed, and an investigation is ongoing. We are asking for the public's assistance in identifying those responsible. If you witnessed any suspicious activity at the park, have security camera or dashcam footage, or have information that may assist the investigation, please contact the New Jersey State Police Red Lion Station at (609) 859-2282.
If you have information regarding who may be responsible and would prefer to remain anonymous, we encourage you to come forward and contact the Red Lion Station. Even seemingly minor details may be helpful to investigators.
The Township will not tolerate vandalism or the destruction of public property. We remain committed to maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming parks for all residents and visitors.
