On June 23, 2026, at approximately 9:08 p.m., Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) officers responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle on Kiely Boulevard and Kaiser Drive. The preliminary investigation determined a Honda motorcycle struck a silver Kia on Kiely Boulevard.
When first responders arrived, they located an adult male who was identified as the driver of the Honda motorcycle. SCPD and Santa Clara Fire Department (SCFD) personnel provided first aid and performed life-saving measures on the male motorcyclist. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deceased male driver of the Honda motorcycle was identified as a 20-year-old resident of Santa Clara, California. His identity will be released by the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner. The driver of the Kia had a minor injury and the passenger of the Kia was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
