Full Notification

This is your friendly notification that beginning tonight, we will have Firework Suppression Units proactively patrolling the city looking for fireworks violations. These units will work nightly between now and the Fourth of July, specifically detailed to deal with fireworks and firework complaints. They will be confiscating all fireworks and issuing citations when necessary.

We know, what a bummer! But we are serious when we say "ALL FIREWORKS" including those considered "SAFE & SANE" can not be used in the City of San Mateo. That means any "firework" that needs to be ignited by a flame (yes, sparklers that means you too).

Be safe, be considerate, and just say no to fireworks!
