Community Advisory: "Red, White & You!" America's Big Birthday Parade and Family Festival on Sunday, 6/28
Monmouth County's "Red, White & You!" America's Big Birthday Parade and Family Festival will take place this Sunday, June 28th in Middletown.
Featuring more than 1,000 parade participants, the event will showcase colorful floats, decorated vehicles, marching bands, musical performances, patriotic displays, and special attractions for all ages.
The parade begins at 12:30 PM at the Middletown Train Station and will travel along Church Street, Kings Highway, New Monmouth Road, Cherry Tree Farm Road, and into Mater Dei Park (23 Cherry Tree Farm Road).
Road closures will begin at approximately 9:00 AM, with Route 35 closing at 11:30 AM. Motorists should expect delays, plan alternate routes, and allow extra travel time. Residents planning to attend are encouraged to arrive early, as road closures may limit access to viewing areas once the parade route is secured.
Following the parade, residents are invited to attend the FREE Family Festival at Mater Dei Park from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring live entertainment, food vendors, community exhibits, inflatables, family activities, and more.
The event will be held rain or shine.
