Widespread showers will follow behind the front throughout the day Friday into Saturday, however clearing behind the front late Friday morning will enable scattered thunderstorm development. Thunderstorms may produce erratic outflow gusts up to 50 mph. The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag Warning for lightning, which is in effect from noon MDT /11 AM PDT/ Friday to 6 AM MDT /5 AM PDT/ Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

In Oregon, Fire Weather Zones 670 Burns BLM, 671 Steens Mountain, 672 Southern Grasslands, 673 Central Canyonlands and 674 Northwestern Vale BLM.
