The Mayor and Council would like to report that starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26, 2026, several streets in the Borough will be milled and new pavement installed in the near future.  The milling and paving operations  will occur over the next 2 weeks to portions of approximately 20 streets with no cost the Borough.  If your street has experienced underground natural gas improvements, these are the streets involved.  This is the final portion of PSE&G gas infrastructure improvement program that's been in progress over the last 14 months making Ridgefield a safer community. Please check your streets for No Parking notices over the next few weeks to avoid vehicles being towed.  It's been a long and involved project but we are excited to report that freshly paved, smooth streets are happening soon.!!  Thank you for your understanding and patience through this challenging project.  The Mayor and Council have heard your comments / concerns and have worked cooperatively with PSE&G to make our community as smooth and safe as soon as possible.  The Mayor and Council would like to thank PSE&G for their investment in the Borough. With smooth streets, remember, the speed limits DIDN'T change.  Obey 25 or the Police will say HI.
