At 232 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Mccune to 6 miles southwest of West Mineral to near Chetopa. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Pittsburg, Baxter Springs, Frontenac, Columbus, Galena, Cherokee, Weir, Lowell, Sherman, Scammon, Chicopee, Mccune, West Mineral, Treece, Roseland, Neutral, Melrose, Beulah, Riverton, and Yale.
