The New York State Department of Transportation will fully close Route 117 at Old House Lane from June 29 through September 4 to perform critical culvert replacement work. The culvert is in deteriorating condition, and a full closure is required to safely and efficiently complete the project.
A state‑approved detour will route commercial traffic via Route 120 (King Street), Route 22, and Route 128 (Armonk Road).
For non‑commercial vehicles, the Town recommends an alternate route using Route 120 (King Street), the Saw Mill River Parkway, and Roaring Brook Road to help reduce traffic impacts on residential neighborhoods.
Motorists should expect delays, follow posted detour signs, and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
