1. Vehicle Pursuit (1532) Ryde Avenue and Alpine Avenue, Civic District
Officers attempted to stop an occupied stolen vehicle in the listed area. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a brief pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle collided with a cinderblock, and both occupants fled on foot. Both suspects were located and arrested. Officers recovered two firearms from the
vehicle. ARRESTED: a 15-year-old male juvenile and a 16-year-old male juvenile for resisting arrest, evading, and weapons charges.
2. Robbery Arrest (1853) 1000 Block of S Stanislaus Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 57, and the female victim, 84, were in the listed area when the suspects approached them and demanded their property. When the victims refused, the suspects assaulted them, took their property, and fled the area. Officers located one suspect and arrested him without incident. ARRESTED: David Garcia,
19, for robbery and elder abuse. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. Person Shot (2148) Filbert Street and Finland Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 38, was riding his bicycle in the listed area when he confronted the known suspect. The victim challenged the suspect to fight, but the suspect pistol-whipped the victim and shot him once. The suspect fled on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: White male adult.
