MISSING PERSON: Zion Tunkara, 14-year-old Black Female Juvenile, Resident of Fayetteville, GA

UPDATE: The missing juvenile, Zion Tunkara, has been located. She is being reunited with family.

SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, at about 9:00 p.m., Zion Tunkara, from Fayetteville Georgia, was traveling in a semi-truck with her mother from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. While the semi-truck was stopped on the I-15 southbound off ramp at Hodge Road, Zion exited the vehicle and ran northbound from the location. According to family, Zion suffers from mental health disorders and is unfamiliar with the area. Zion is not in possession of any tracking devices or cellular phone.
Zion is described as a Black female juvenile, 5’ 3” tall and weighs about 120 lbs. She has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a shirt with black leggings.
Investigators with the Barstow Sheriff’s Station are asking anyone who may have seen Zion or knows her whereabouts to contact Sheriff’s Dispatch at 760-956-5001.
