The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Watch for the City of St. Louis from Sunday, June 28, at 12 PM through Friday, July 3, at 12 AM.
Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 110 are possible.
Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
