Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Monday

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 292 North Fork Forecast Area and Fire Weather Zone 294 Southwest Colorado Upper West Forecast Area. In Utah, Fire Weather Zone 487 Book Cliffs, Fire Weather Zone 490 Colorado River Basin and Fire Weather Zone 491 Southeast Utah.

* TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until midnight MDT tonight. For the second Red Flag Warning, from noon to 10 PM MDT Sunday. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.

* IMPACTS...Elevated fire danger is expected. Fires will catch and spread rapidly and erratically.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTH FORK ... SOUTHWEST COLORADO UPPER WEST FORECAST AREA ... BOOK CLIFFS ... COLORADO RIVER BASIN ... SOUTHEAST UTAH
