The Ridgefield Mayor and Council in conjunction with the Ridgefield Police Department's Community Policing Unit would like to announce that New Jersey DMV's Mobile Vehicle Inspection Unit will be at the Ridgefield Community Center tomorrow. The Ridgefield Community Center is located at 725 Slocum Avenue and vehicle inspections will start at 8:30 am and end at 2:00 pm. The vehicle inspections are free as long as either the inspection sticker is overdue or within 30 days of expiration. Remember, please have your driver's license, the vehicle's registration card and a valid insurance card with you to make the transaction as easy and smooth as possible. If available, swing by for a free vehicle inspection, especially if the inspection is overdue. 90 day extention periods are usually issued. So, stop by and try or later, pay a fine. 128
