Wilmington Police have arrested a man on a gun charge following a vehicle stop.
On June 21st at approximately 7:06 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division conducted a vehicle stop in the area of East 4th Street and Swedes Landing Road. Officers made contact with 24-year-old Jalani Thomas, who was taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered a loaded .9mm handgun.
Thomas has been charged with the following offense:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Court 11 and released after posting a $2,500 secured-bail.
