INCIDENT: Investigation Leads to Arrest of Two Convicted Felons and Recovery of an Illegal Firearm

LOCATION: 21300 block of Nisqually Road, Apple Valley

SUSPECT(S): Ronaldo Monroe, 46-year-old, Resident of Pomona 
                        Robert Guillebeau, 36-year-old, Resident of Los Angeles 

VICTIM(S): State of California 

SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 25, 2026, deputies assigned to the Victorville City Gang Impact Team (VCGIT) conducted an investigation into the illegal possession of firearms by 36-year-old Robert Guillebeau, a resident of Los Angeles.

The investigation ultimately led to the service of a search warrant at a residence in the 21300 block of Nisqually Road in Apple Valley. During the search warrant service, deputies contacted 46-year-old Ronaldo Monroe, a resident of Pomona, who was found to be in possession of a privately manufactured Polymer 80 handgun, a 30-round large-capacity magazine, and a 15-round large-capacity magazine.

The investigation revealed that both Monroe and Guillebeau were convicted felons who were prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition.

Monroe and Guillebeau were arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for felony violations of Penal Code 29800(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Penal Code 30305(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and Penal Code 32310 – Possession of a Large-Capacity Magazine.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department remains committed to proactively investigating illegal firearm possession and holding prohibited persons accountable. Through targeted enforcement and proactive investigations, the Victorville Gang Impact Team continues to remove illegal firearms from our communities, reduce violent crime, and enhance public safety.
