Sheriff Clint Roach reports that his deputies executed a search warrant on a residence on Cogic Rd. in Howard Township on 6/28/2026.
Deputies, with assistance from the Michigan State Police, were investigating the theft of a vehicle that took place the previous night. That vehicle had been previously recovered, but during that investigation, Deputies recovered a second vehicle that had been reported stolen in South Bend. Deputies also found stolen property from another nearby residence.
The arrested individual is currently a suspect for two additional vehicle thefts that took place in Niles.
Deputies did not recover any additional stolen property related to other cases. The name of the suspect will be withheld pending his arraignment.
