The Highland Park Historical Commission, in partnership with Middlesex County RIDE, has organized a FREE shuttle bus to Middlesex County's Revolutionary Celebration at East Jersey Old Town (EJOT) Village in Johnson Park this Saturday, July 4. The shuttle will run from 10 AM to 4 PM, departing every 20-25 minutes from the Welkovitz Pavilion (near 212 Raritan Ave) and the Highland Park Community Center (222 S. 6th Ave).
Costumed interpreters will be on board the shuttle bus to entertain riders with local history. Once you arrive at the EJOT Village, Middlesex County has a full day of activities planned to commemorate America's 250th year, including live music, historic reenactments, family fun, live theater, and much more!
