The female victim, 28, was walking to her vehicle when the suspect approached her from behind and attempted to pull her purse away. The victim managed to hold onto her purse, and the suspect
fled with her other property. The victim sustained minor injuries. SUSPECT: A Black male in his twenties.
2. Resisting Arrest (1118) 400 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
Officers responded to an area business on a report that the suspect attempted to shoplift. When officers tried to detain the suspect, he resisted arrest. The suspect was taken to the ground and into
custody. ARRESTED: Jason Bickford, 26, for shoplifting, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
