1. Robbery Arrest (1027) 1200 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 21, was working at an area business and confronted the suspect for shoplifting. The suspect threatened the victim and fled with the property. The suspect was located, arrested, and the stolen merchandise was recovered. ARRESTED: Lennell Reynolds, 26, for robbery.
2. Resisting Arrest (1600) 300 Block of West Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers responded to a call of a suspicious subject hitting vehicles with a metal rod. Officers contacted the suspect, who refused to put down the rod and attempted to flee into an area business. Officers used force to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Elmer Orellana, 40, for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
3. Attempted Robbery (2231) 3200 Block of West Lane, Civic District
The victim, 22, was working at an area business when the suspect entered and charged at the victim with a knife. The victim fled, but the suspect chased after him. When the victim called for help, the suspect fled. SUSPECT: Black or Hispanic male adult.
4. Robbery (2305) 6000 Block of North El Dorado Street, Lakeview District.
The victims, 45 and 25, were working at an area business when the suspect entered, brandished a knife, and demanded property. The victims complied, and the suspect fled on foot with store merchandise. SUSPECT: Black or Hispanic male adult.
5. Weapon Arrest (0039) West Lane and Bianchi Road, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. A search of the vehicle revealed the suspect was in unlawful possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Steafone White, 34, for weapons and traffic charges.
