Springfield Avenue will be CLOSED to all vehicular traffic in the area of Nomahegan Park prior to the fireworks display to accommodate pedestrian traffic. Motorists should expect closures between Kenilworth Boulevard and Orange Avenue.

Please obey all road closures and posted signage. Also, take an extra moment to ensure your vehicle is legally parked and in compliance with all parking regulations. Parking is available at Union College.

Following the fireworks display, traffic patterns on Springfield Avenue will be modified to help move the large volume of vehicles leaving the area. Please follow the directions of police officers and be prepared for delays and alternate routes.

Fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk (approximately 9:15 p.m.).

Please do not call the Police Desk for updates on the status of the fireworks. Any delays, cancellations, or other updates will be shared by the Township on this page and through its social media channels. Please contact the Police Department, or call 9-1-1, only if you require police assistance.
