Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who took a package within minutes after it had been delivered to a victim’s home on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., the victim received a notification that her package had been dropped off on the front steps of her home in the 400 block of South 11th Street. Seven minutes later, at 12:22 p.m., surveillance video captured the suspect taking the package and walking away southbound on South 11th Street.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
