On July 1, 2026 at 6:08 PM, Simi Valley Police Officers were notified of a FLOCK camera hit on a stolen vehicle entering the city. Officers began searching for the vehicle and located it driving in the area of Madera Road and Cochran Street.
The vehicle was followed into the nearby Walmart parking lot at which point a high-risk traffic stop was initiated. The vehicle, which was reported stolen today in LAPD Hollywood Division, was found to be occupied by 5 subjects, all of whom were juveniles. The occupants were detained without incident and the driver, a 16-year-old male from Los Angeles, was arrested and released to his parents for driving a stolen vehicle and driving without a driver’s license. The four remaining juvenile passengers were also released to parents at the scene.
