Due to the excessive heat, the Haledon Recreation Department has suspended all outdoor activities for today.
Roe Street Park will be closed for the remainder of the day and is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Indoor activities at the Recreation Center will remain open and continue as scheduled.
Please stay hydrated, avoid prolonged outdoor activity during peak heat, and check on elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may be vulnerable to the extreme temperatures.
