The Westchester County Department of Health is advising the public to avoid recreational use of the Hudson River following a power failure at the Yonkers Wastewater Treatment System.
Although Ossining is not specifically included in the advisory, we urge residents to use caution and avoid swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or any activities involving contact with Hudson River water until further notice.
Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.

El Departamento de Salud del Condado de Westchester está recomendando al público evitar el uso recreativo del Río Hudson tras una falla eléctrica en el sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales de Yonkers.
