The Borough of Waldwick is asking all residents and businesses to voluntarily reduce water usage due to increased seasonal demand and to help protect our water supply.
Residents are encouraged to:
• Limit lawn watering and irrigation to only when necessary.
• Avoid washing vehicles, driveways, and sidewalks.
• Repair leaking faucets, toilets, and irrigation systems.
• Run dishwashers and washing machines only with full loads.
• Take shorter showers and turn off the faucet while brushing teeth.
At this time, this is a voluntary conservation request, not a mandatory restriction. However, everyone's cooperation is appreciated to help ensure an adequate water supply for essential needs and fire protection.
The Borough will continue to monitor conditions and will provide updates if additional conservation measures become necessary.
