SVRPHI The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Morris County in northern New Jersey... Northeastern Somerset County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 736 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mendham, or near Morristown, moving southeast at 50 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS COUNTY. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include... Morristown, Dover, Madison, Florham Park, East Hanover, Chatham, Wharton, Rockaway, Morris Plains, Mendham, Peapack And Gladstone, Chester, Victory Gardens, Parsippany, Millington, Basking Ridge, Succasunna-Kenvil, North Plainfield, Bernardsville, and Watchung. This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 37 and 42. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 35 and 36, and between mile markers 41 and 42. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 27 and 41.
