* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1033 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near New Berlin, or 12 miles west of Springfield, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Sangamon County, including the following locations... Salisbury, Cantrall, Berlin, and Curran. This includes the following highways... Interstate 55 between mile markers 102 and 110. Interstate 72 between mile markers 80 and 91.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SANGAMON, IL
