Anacostia pool will be closed today, July 4, 2026, due to road closures and limited access in the area for the July 4th activities.
Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) outdoor pools, spray parks, playgrounds, parks, athletic courts and fields will be open. Outdoor pools and spray parks operate from 10 am to 6 pm on July 4.
On Saturday, July 4, the following recreation centers–and three indoor pools–will open as cooling centers, operating from 9 am to 5 pm:

DPR will operate the following indoor pools from 9 am - 5 pm on Saturday, July 4:
