The Pemberton Township Office of Emergency Management has set up 2 cooling stations for those residents experiencing a power outage at their home. The cooling centers are located at the Pemberton Township Fire Department Country Lakes Station 103 Fire House Rd and the Pemberton Township High School located at 148 Arney’s Mt. Rd. they will be open from 12:00 pm July 4th 2026 until 8:00 pm July 4th 2026. We will be revaluating the power outage during the day and may extend the hours. Please make sure you bring any medication that you may need . Pets will be permitted at the High School, if you are bring your pet please ensure that they are leashed and have drinking water and another supplies that you may need for their comfort. If your pet (s) are not people friendly ensure they are muzzled for everyone’s safety including your pets. These cooling station are for temporary use, in the event we are notified of a long term outage we will readjust our plans. JCP&L is offering free water and ice for their customers which can be picked up at the ACME at 18 Broadway Browns Mills, ID is required.
