Utility repairs on the Main St bridge has completed and the bridge is open to all traffic. 
BELMAR POLICE DEPARTMENT – STORM UPDATE
As of 8pm this evening, the Main Street Bridge has reopened and is now open to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The 1800 block of B Street remains closed due to downed trees and power lines. Please avoid the area and follow all posted detours and directions from emergency personnel.
JCP&L continues to work to restore power throughout the state following last night's severe storms. At this time, there is no estimated time of restoration available.
Residents without power may pick up free water and ice at participating locations, including:
- ShopRite – 1732 Route 35, Wall
- ACME – 2007 Route 35, Wall
If you need police assistance or observe any downed wires, do not approach them. Contact the Belmar Police Department immediately at 732-681-1700.
