Village Officials are aware that there are several tree limbs and electrical wires down throughout Pelham Manor. Emergency services personnel are actively responding. At present, the power outage does not appear to be widespread, however, Village property has been damaged in the Four Corners area. The traffic light at the intersection of Pelhamdale Avenue and Boston Post Road has been compromised, but is currently partially functioning. Please avoid this area if possible, and if it is necessary to travel through this intersection use additional caution.
Pelham Manor has notified the utility companies of the damages, and will continue to work with them on restoration. It is anticipated that the intersection of Pelhamdale Avenue and Boston Post Road will take some time to clear, as more than one utility company must be involved.
If you lose power, it is imperative that residents provide notice directly to ConEdison. You may report and monitor power outages through their mobile app, online, or by phone 1-800-752-6633. If you see downed or sparking electrical wires, do not go near them. Assume all downed and sparking wires are electrified.
