Traffic Alert – Road Closures & Downed Power Lines
5th Avenue is closed between Continental Avenue and Midland Avenue. Midland Avenue is also closed between Kinderkamack Road and Spring Valley Road in Paramus.
The River Edge Police Department reminds everyone not to drive around barricades or through areas with downed power lines. There are numerous downed power lines throughout the borough. PSE&G Electric has been notified and is responding to make emergency repairs.
The River Edge Department of Public Works will continue working throughout the night to clear fallen trees and reopen roadways as conditions allow.
