CAD CALLS: 1295

1. Robbery (1301) 100 Block of East Lincoln Road, Lakeview District
The male victim, 61, was sitting in his vehicle when the suspect approached and snatched his property from him. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

2. Robbery (1841) 00 Block of Harding Way, Civic District
An employee victim, 50, confronted two suspects who were shoplifting. One suspect brandished a pocketknife and threatened to stab the victim if he tried to stop them. Both suspects fled the area on foot. SUSPECTS: Two Black male juveniles.

3. Weapon Arrest (2039) First Street and Airport Way, Park District
Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. When officers removed the driver from the vehicle, they found a loaded handgun on his person. The driver was arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Stephan Chanthachack, 21, for weapon charges.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2128) 1900 Block of Comstock Drive, Bear Creek District
The suspect was involved in a verbal altercation with his neighbors and armed himself with a metal object.
The suspect swung the object at the victims but missed. The suspect was taken into custody by the responding officers. ARRESTED: Raymond Scott, 48, for assault with a deadly weapon.

5. Robbery Arrest (2341) 300 Block of Horton Avenue, Seaport District
The female victim, 36, was at her residence when the known suspect walked into her home under the influence. The suspect grabbed the victim’s property from her hand and fled. Officers located the suspect and arrested him. ARRESTED: Ray Napier, 38, for domestic violence, robbery, and warrants.

6. Homicide (0015) 200 Block of East March Lane, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a person shot and located the male victim, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

7. Homicide (0300) 7900 Block of Montgomery Avenue, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a person shot and located the male victim, 36, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

8. Person Stabbed (0410) Center Street and Miner Street, Civic District
The male victim, 42, was in the listed area when the suspects approached him, pointed a firearm at him, and demanded his property. The victim complied and handed them his property. One suspect then stabbed the victim, and both fled on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: 2 Black male adults.
