Power Outage Update
JCPL is working to restore service and has brought in regional crews, with more expected over the next few days. Repairs will be prioritized from the largest outages to the smallest. Major multi-customer outages are expected to be restored from today through midweek, with smaller and individual repairs to follow. If your outage is due to a power line detached from your home or property, you must hire an electrician to repair it before JCPL can reconnect service.
Restoration estimates and customer-specific ETRs will be posted as available on the outage map: http://spr.ly/NJOutageMap. To receive JCPL text updates, text REG to 544487. ETRs are generally outside estimates and are likely to improve as crews are assigned, so residents should check the site regularly.
