Due to reports of reduced water pressure, the Village of South Bloomfield is issuing a boil water advisory out of an abundance of caution. 
At this time, we have no reason to believe any contamination has entered the water system. However, we cannot confirm that water pressure remained above the minimum safe level throughout the system, so state regulations require us to issue this advisory.
Our staff is currently working to refill the water tower and will continue to monitor the system throughout the process.
We expect to collect the required bacteriological water samples Tuesday morning. Once the samples have been analyzed and meet all required standards, we anticipate lifting the boil water advisory on Wednesday.
