INCIDENT: HS11379(A)- Transportation or Sale of a Controlled Substance

SUSPECT(S): Russell Scott Jorgenson, 35-year-old Male, Resident of Upland
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, July 5, 2026, at approximately 12:07 A.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station were actively patrolling in the area of San Bernardino Road and Foothill Boulevard when they conducted a proactive traffic stop on a white Mercedes Benz for California Vehicle Code violations.
Deputies contacted the suspect, identified as Russel Scott Jorgenson, who displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. During an inventory of the vehicle, deputies located suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia.
Jorgenson was later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for HS11379(A)- Transportation or Sale of a Controlled Substance.
