Department of Public Works Storm Cleanup Update
Cleanup efforts continued across Tabernacle Township on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after storms swept through the area, bringing strong winds that toppled trees, downed power lines, and caused widespread power outages.
Department of Public Works crews have spent much of the weekend clearing roadways and removing storm debris throughout the Township. Cleanup operations are being prioritized based on emergency and public safety concerns.
As you can imagine, we have been inundated with calls. If you need to report a downed tree on a Township roadway, please email Natalie Lewis at [email protected]. Please include the location of the tree and any relevant details. If possible, attach a photograph.
Please be patient and leave a message if your call is not immediately returned, as the entire Public Works crew is currently in the field responding to storm-related issues.
Power Outages
For residents experiencing power outages, please continue to report outages directly to your electric utility provider. Restoration times are approximate and subject to change as crews assess conditions and complete repairs.
For residents in Tabernacle Township, outages are typically handled by either Atlantic City Electric or PSE&G.
Atlantic City Electric: Report outages by calling 1-800-833-7476 or online through Atlantic City Electric's outage reporting system.

The power outages have been especially challenging for many families during the ongoing heat and humidity. If you are aware of someone in immediate need of assistance due to medical concerns, extreme heat, or other emergency conditions, please do not hesitate to call 911.
We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as crews continue working to restore safe conditions throughout the Township.
