A Flood Watch is in effect through 8pm this evening for our area, according to the National Weather Service. Additional showers and thunderstorms this afternoon through this evening may bring flash flooding, with the greatest risk in urban and low lying areas.
Relocate vehicles: Avoid parking in flood-prone areas, especially near Wesley Lake, Sunset Lake, and Deal Lake. Move vehicles to higher ground away from trees and other hazards.
- Paid parking suspended: To help residents relocate vehicles and increase parking availability, paid parking will be suspended today, Monday, July 6.
- Alternate side of street parking suspended: Alternate side of street parking regulations are also suspended for today, Monday, July 6.
