Throughout this weekend's storm and through this morning, Mayor Halpern and I have been on conference calls with JCP&L's administrative team to advocate for the residents who are still without power. We both agree that restoration for these homes has taken significantly longer than it should and apologize for any hardship this may have caused you.
To assist residents without power, we still have our cooling station and charging station open at the Fair Haven Community Center at 35 Fisk Street for any resident who need access to it. Please know that we will continue to speak with JCP&L and push them every day to expedite power restoration until every house is restored.
In the meantime, if you have not reported your power outage to JCP&L directly, please do so by calling 1-800-662-3115 to ensure you are listed in their system as an outage. Customers can obtain outage information through the JCP&L outage map, online accounts, or by texting STAT to 544487.
